Office Volunteers: 
Assistance with administrative duties at our office which would consist of making phone calls, providing help with upcoming fundraisers, keeping track of children's records, etc.

Foot Soldiers: 
We need to spread the word about WBD, fundraising events, and upcoming events the public should know about. Foot Soldiers will be out in the field interacting with the public.

Tutoring: 
Provide educational support to the children and youth of WBD.

Life Skills Training: 
Get involved with training participants in important life topics including creating resumes, learning about credit, applying for jobs, receiving scholarships, etc.

Events: 
Volunteers will help plan, coordinate, and execute events throughout the year including Open House, job fairs, and other fundraising events.

WBD and more importantly, the children, are grateful for any and every item received from sponsors. Gift in-kind and product donations of the following are greatly appreciated:

Food products, personal hygiene, clothing
Computers, school supplies, training sessions
Holiday items and gifts
Household items

Donations:

All proceeds go to our mission of protecting, educating, and empowering foster children. Initially, the majority of the proceeds will go to the renovations of the Resource Center - The Cloud, as well as program development and implementation, and food and clothing for children in need of emergency care.

PRECIOUS CARGO Project

We Become the Dream has started the first big project that will provide support to children and youth entering the foster care system. These kids are usually given two trash bags to move their belongings into an unknown situation.

This initiative helps them remember their dignity, and shows that they are cared for and not forgotten. None of us truly knows what they have been through - but we do know one thing: these are kids, not trash.

With your donations and support, we will be able to provide our children with duffel bags filled with extra clothing, food, shoes, school supplies, and more.
